TBOS Round 1 Part 5At this point, I pretty much mentally blocked out the Narrator's redundant narration as the story jumped us ahead to us arriving at the lake house. There was enough light from the pale red moon to get a clear look at this mysterious figure with this bandana over his face and a billowing lab coat. And his lab coat was billowing pretty wildly for good reasons.

"Holy cannoli! We must be at de climax of de fairy tale!" Ricco shouted with some degree of glee, as strong winds were sweeping over us and the lake.

Sorry for having to split things up like this, but part 2 was the least important to animate and I was out of time, so I decided to link you guys to prose form here.

But don't worry, I'll be able to fully animate Part 2 in a matter of days, so I'll edit this description once I'm done with the final version. Until then, hope you guys can enjoy what I have to offer for the Book of Stories.

Minor Edit: All music used here came from Freeplaymusic.com and their titles will be later listed in the end credits once I'm done animating Part 2.

Major Edit/Update: Part 2 is finally animated and integrated into this flash file! Click on the bottom-right arrow in the textbox to proceed through the dialogue. I'm leaving this link to the original prose of Part 2, in case you want to see it - I made a few changes and omitted/condensed some lines, as there's a whole bunch of dialogue to go through.

No, but that's only because I think of bugs as genderless. But her girl-ness makes her more interesting (since it would just be so typical to have the tough gaming character be a dude and the weird character be a girl).

I love that you do animation, this was quite fun, and made good use of an interesting medium. Are you planning to animate the whole thing?

I think she does talk abit like a video game and Rico certainly does.

And you've got the book too!

Our characters are going to have NO idea what's going on *Smacks forehead* and Sian is going to be so confused by your two.

I'm hoping to animate the whole thing. Though if I can't animate in time, I'll probably just stick with words and pictures like in your audition. XD

And yeah, both our OCs got the Book - and like you said, they probably won't know about the whole "Book going crazy and out of control" deal on their own, stuck to wandering aimlessly through stories until they find a contestant who got recruited by Mudd or Lady Ink. XD

Bo and Ricco probably won't be as confused about Sian as vice versa, but you can probably expect Ricco to flirt with Sian a fair bit and make with the awkward hilarity. XD

And the animation is really good--I like the varied looks and character design.

He's never encountered a shark headed person or a bug person before, so he would be a bit intrigued and weirded out. And he'd probably be a bit exasperated, as Bo and Ricco would probably remind him of some of his students.
